Hello,

Does anyone know a site or software that will generate LLL/LLLL combinations based on the letters I choose only? (i.e. A, B, X, M, N, V only) :td:

Thanks.

The link below will do what you ask but only in dot-com. What TLD are you needing a generator built for?

The tool is interesting but I'm not sure how to use it in order to get the list I want.

I want all combinations of 3 letters or 4 letters generated from a list of given letters (say A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H)

The generator seems to be for 5-6 letter domains while I am looking for 3-4 letters :)

Hi Webcom,

It will generate 2, 3 or 4 random letter domain names too but since those are long gone in dot-com the instructions say 5+ letters.

All you need to do is enter your custom letters (without spaces) in the proper text boxes and click the generate domain names button. Below is a example using your letters to produce a random 3 letter dot-com domain name.

Many cool custom random letter domain names can be generated with this generator. I found several good L-LL domains with the i prefix and this is how it's done.

1. Enter "i" in the first text box and all that will generate as the first letter is "i". NOTE: if only one letter or number is entered it will be the static output.

2. Enter the hyphen "-" in the second text box and all that will show is a hyphen as the second letter.

3. Enter your custom letters in the third and fourth text boxes and those letters will show as the randomized third and fourth letter output. I choose to generate from all letters. "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"

Below is a example of the process for generating a L-LL with the i prefix. You will see i-jf.com is available.

Hope this helps with the How-To but I still need to know what TLD you need this generator built to generate. Are you looking for custom letters in a dot-net? Tell me and I'll add the TLD you wish.

Oh, I now understand how it works. Thanks for taking the time to write the comprehensive instructions!

The problem now is that it randomly generates a list of 20-30 domains based on my criteria rather than listing all possible combinations (in the hundreds or thousands)

Any way to get them all? :)

Hi Webcom,

Sorry, I can not fulfill your request because my system is only for on the fly domain name generation. However there are board members who post downloadable lists and I think there are a few free desktop tools too.

Good luck with your quest!
