I am going to start redoing these threads without the "countdown" part, as well as no "availability" lists since those are frowned upon apparently.

Anyway, good to see another LLL.IO sell. Now we have a years worth of sales data, which is great! Another sale yesterday for low XXX. It's good to see that many LLL have sold over 2015 with prices well above the reg fee.

I told to a chinese group of mine about dot io resource ,let us see how about the reg change in the next few days.

I think if just a small amount of Chinese domainers understood that .io is a TLD with real traction in the US, it would be game over.

I was curious how the average market price for LLL.io was changing during the past 6 months, so I went ahead and made some calculations (I didn't take into account, such sales as art.io etc, since those are rather exceptions):

08/2015 - $152
09/2015 - $181
10/2015 - $243
11/2015 - $258
12/2015 - $272
01/2016 - $190
02/2015 - so far it is $240

So the trend is nice Hope that after the Chinese New Year, it will go up faster

I totally don't get it lol. Again the sellers have to pay a fee to auction the domain and the sale price, so I believe they are legit buys. But I wish more emphasis was put into hand registering LLL rather than paying a premium. It's better for the buyer and the LLL domainers as a whole, unless of course your looking for a specific name as an end user.

I think the thing to do for anyone looking to invest at this point is to buy dual Chinese/Western premium LLL.io that are left to register, given sales like the above HGD. Could get to $100+ pretty quick. I'm debating whether to buy some myself but I already have a fairly large best on Chinese NNN.io, so trying to be prudent too.
