LLL.co - New trend?

I see at Godaddy expired auction, that price for english premium lll.co is >$200 and for chinese premium letters >$100, impossible to hand reg any dropped LLL.co.

xak.co
vcz.co

Many acronyms, many potential buyers. short, easy, 3 letters;
.CO Ltd is title of many Chinese and Japan companies, .CO mean Company, Corporation, Commerce, College, Consultant, Connect, Cooperation etc... Is LLL.CO a good investment for the future?
What's your opinion?

I wouldn't bother with them, I owned quite a few and couldn't even sell them for more than $50, to end-user or domainers

of course it is short,eazy to remember indeed, but these domains do not have a good meaning in Chinese.

I just sold two LLL.co for $400 each. Although the number of sales is still low, looking at Namebio.com it seems aftermarket prices are now hovering around $200. I sold one for $1,250 a few months ago to an end user. I have around 30 more of them and looking to hold long term.

I couldn't sell my LLL.co names to any companies, they are just not interested as they have never heard of it, I ended up auctioning them here for around $50 each

I have a few names that are chinese and/or western premium - no end user interest yet...
Hopefully reseller price will rise eventually.

Buying random (non-premium) names above $12+renewal could be risky.
Someone at Flippa only got $55 for jug.co - we're talking english dictionary name!

extention co is good with the strong words only..there are some good compnies taken the co gtld..just yesterday i watched an auction in godaddy (waves.co)it is an expired domain... the high bid was 70$ and suddenly raised to 280 in the last hour

I own about 10 LLL.co since 2010 and I get one low $xx offer per year..

I don't know where LLL.co value is going to be in 2016 but for now it's low.

So IMO, no, it isn't a good investment.

I've sold 1 LLL.co for $400. I've lost more in renewalls.

LLL.co aren't liquid.

I beleive it is better to have LLLL.CO that have reel meaning than to have lll.co without meaning.
I recently picked up phys*co that mean physics company. Phys.org recently sold for 6k
I now have medline*co and careline*co and homeline*co and deskline*co

If you go in sedo and search for mayo, you will see that there are many other extension associated with mayo that are waiting for an offer.
Go on namebio and do a search related to mayo, you wouldn't find sale related to mayo for any extension either.

I do all of this before I get a domain name. But we all understand what is Mayo and it definitely have some value. Mayo also means "May" the month in Spanish. Mayo .co is great and makes sense for Colombia or for a Company.

I understand that mayo is quite popular, I just want to know what kind of business or profit can mayo .co generate, that is another tip to be consider in the game. Everybody knows january, january mean the first month of the year, but what business can we associate to a domain name like january.co
That is why domaining is a speculative thing, there is not yet any formula that garanti why some name sell above others.
Who knows, maybe the right people in need of mayo .co dont even know that the extension .co exist and can serve them.

Speaking of LLLL.co - I wonder if someone with a software and too much time on their hands could do a scan to see how much chinese premiums is registered (and if we will see another buyout soon).
