Hello, I'm new to this forum.

I recently bought a domain with the extension amurgh.com /.net /.de. I only bought the domains; they are new, have no searches on the internet, and no traffic. They are "newborn" domains, so to speak. They are short, one-word, easy to pronounce, and easy to remember.

I need some advice. I would like to sell them, but I don't know where to start or how much I could ask for them. I'm new to selling domains.

Thank you for any responses.

So lets get this right. You've registered these extensions around the term 'amurgh' Which as you state has no-meaning and no searches.

Well in that case, everybody else will come to the same conclusion, which is it has no value. Even in pronunciation it's hardly a pretty or pleasant sounding concoction. Can't see you getting anywhere with this kind of domain thinking.

I can assure you that most of those 'Concocted' combo wordings that you have seen in use, had at least a basis for their start-off. They weren't just dragged-off an empty shelf

The word actually means twilight in Romanian. I had plans to enter E-Commerce and do print-on-demand clothing, and I also thought of a symbol. But the plans have changed; there is a lot of competition, and it is quite difficult to start such a hobby and make money from it. So, I thought of investing the money differently now. That’s why I intend to sell those domains. I know that no one will give me 3 million euros; I just put that figure there. I was thinking that if I ask someone with experience, they might be able to clarify things a bit for me. Because the word is not hard to remember, it could potentially be a brand. I thought that if it hasn't been used, or doesn't appear in searches, it would be a plus because there wouldn't need to be as much investment in advertising.
And Sedo seems a bit complicated to use, which is why I asked if you know of any other sites where I can sell, ones that are easier to use, something for beginners.
That’s how I thought about it.

Thank you for the clarifications.

Are you sure about the 'h' at the end?
I'm sorry, Romanian teacher. I wanted to write TwilightH. I hope I've translated it correctly now.
We are in 2024, and the words that are grammatically correct are already taken, so we need to improvise. I only asked for some advice, I didn't kill anyone, nor did I harm anyone. If you want to help, you help. If not, you don't. Nobody is forcing you.

@laurl64 I meant, are you sure about the 'h' at the end of amurgh? :xf.grin:

Google Translate says it's amurg (without the 'h'), that's why I asked.

Maybe. But you said: "The word actually means twilight in Romanian."

If someone cannot be perfect in person, they cannot be perfect in writing either. I apologize if I have offended you or somehow made you feel bad. I am young, experimenting, trying to build a future for myself, and at the same time keep up with the future, even if I do not know it, nor do others. Well, maybe others already know the future. Who knows?

I don't quite understand your reaction, but I wish you the best. As for the domain, I think the extra 'h' makes the domain have little value.

I know what you mean; sometimes I don't even understand what I want to say. Thank you for the advice. I thought you were a Romanian who criticizes because that's how Romanians are; they just want to bring you down. I'm just going through a difficult time in life, and I'm obsessed with wanting to create a future for my child. I'm not asking for pity now; I just wanted to hear other opinions. And really, thank you for the advice and for writing what you believe. I wish you all the success as well.

Steady on there Chief. If you want to see only positive responses, then just write that into your request. If your going to feel that bitter about a bit of banter then can't see you staying around for long. $3 million price tag that apparently you haven't mistaken in entering. An admission that even the Spelling is wide of the mark. Now come-on. Get your act together, your get a lot of honesty from NP members, Sorry but not much mollycoddling

Hey, Chief. As I mentioned earlier, I accept any advice. If someone noticed a mistake, I explained it. If you have anything else to add, you can tell me; I won't get upset. And about the 3 million thing, as I said before, I didn't accidentally put it; I just meant they are just numbers.
