Many DEFI projects are using "new" TLDs. Time will tell how many of those turn out to be pump and dump governance tokens or outright exit scams. Of course scammers can use a .COM too but a domain like CRYPTO.com adds legitimacy to a project.

aka the ability to pay over 1 million for a domain adds legitimacy. Well said :/

more .coms on the shady list than anything else. Most of the legit projects are using non .com, many of them ngtld.

Thanks for the wonderful thread. Most of my spam comes from crap extensions registered at namecheap.
i checked a few here and sure enough these scam websites were registered at namecheap.com
Maybe you can tag that lady rep from namecheap and ask her if they know their customer and maybe put pos out of business.

More than a month apart from the reply.

Your replies helping bump thread.

Notice, if any, feels like almost all offline without as much a defense 🤔 except for you. Every reply looks worse.
Crypto is a legit business currency.

But these aforementioned are not, and questionable.
Saddens me, u still defend them. Are you owner of any?

Krexbit.com is a scam site, beware and spread the word. They are loving their "K's" because it's from the same Facebook group that kydaswap appeared from. Almost scammed another member, fake buyer got pissed when he said he should pay on Epik or on other well-known trusted sites.

They also paid a lot of money to blogs to post phoney articles.

BTCnews.one is the fraudulent platform used to deceive you into thinking the sites they talk about are legit but they are not, these guys even took enough time to include a "blacklist" of fake crypto sites, scroll down and you'll see it's a huge column with extra room to include any of theirs that's been exposed so they can keep on scamming, this is a crypto scam network, do not register on any site/sites recommended by them.

Yeah the person contacted me on Telegram to buy one of my domains.
Offered me $6500 for it. Told me that he is from China & he can only pay via Bitcoin. When I told him sure, will accept it via DAN (they accept cryptos) he said his funds are locked in KrexBit.com & that I should make an account there to receive the funds.
Now, here comes the funny part. Once you agree & create the account, the person will tell you that they are sending crypto to your wallet & from their backend, they'll edit & show that your wallet has received the funds.

Now, you transfer them the domain, etc. and once you try to withdraw it will tell you deposit $50 (or more) worth of crypto as a "security" check inorder to transfer out your crypto.
AND THUS THE SCAM!

I have played with 2 scammers for fun who were running the same scamming model. Registered account on their site, with a disposable email ID, told them to send the funds, harrassed them by saying its not showing up (though it did) then altering the screenshot to show it as 0 :p so that they would go bonkers. Ultimately getting blocked by the scammers when they understood that I was just wasting their time lol

Nice, I fell victim late last year, even made a thread about it, luckily Rob Monster helped and I got my domain back.. These guys are relentless, they take enough time between scams to powder their sites with fake backlinks and articles about the CEO, funding DeFi, etc.

A Russian man posing as an indigene of my country tried to scam me into registering into another kydaswap clone for btc, he deleted the chat on telegram immediately I called him out.

Beware! Bitvitex.com is a scam! Check kydaswap.xyz and Bitvitex, they are using the same phony html skins and amateur stylings. Nothing but a reskin to catch fresh meat.

You know how when it comes to escrows we don't post a list of escrow scam site, we just know escrow.com epikescrow and dan.com are good and everything else avoid.

Same with crypto, its easier to share the few honest sites and bang into everyone's brain that everything else is fraud.

Why would you move this to “reviews” section?

And why wait this long to do so?

This lame, self-defeating, least popular section
