Hi Everyone,
As my first project back, I coded up a Url Shortener that utilized AJAX to deliver results incredibly fast. And Mod Rewrite to get the shortest links possible. The script is 100% custom and unique no one else has access to it and it will not be resold again.

Link To Site: LinkSlice

The Package Includes..
- LinkSlice.com Domain Registered At Namecheap Expires Jan 3 08
- Unqiue Script w/ Resell Rights
- Help with install on new server if required.
- SQL file if you choose to install yourself.

Id like to start the price at 50$
With a BIN of 150$

$50 here

I see it was registered yesterday, so we can assume no traffic/backlinks/income :)

I'm getting the same error for the first 3 urls I try in a new browser - in Firefox my first 3 didn't work - in IE my first 3 didn't work... I'm assuming it's a bug you can easily fix before the sale.

Not all of them work for me. Sometimes it will go two or three times without slicing the link. I am in IE7 and I was trying w/o http://

I tried it again and it worked; however, I have to click GO a few times to create the sliced link.

Perhaps add a check to see that the link starts with http:// otherwise it gives an error or adds the http:// to the front of the link on the backend

OK it should be fixed now, before what was happening was it was generating a number already assigned to a link in the db causing it not to enter correctly. Ive fixed it so it now checks the db for duplicates first, if it finds any it generates a new number.

try this again guys

It's still assigning links that have been used before - but now a little number pops up under the url entry box - if it's a 0 it will work, if it's a 1 it wont. Can you set this up to have infinite permutations rather than 4 digits?

I fixed the bug where you need to include http:// you can now have google.com or http://google.com, Ok the number is now alot longer more combinations.

Ok the script to check to make sure the number is unqiue is working now, its late.. there was a typo in the string text so now the numbers wont need to be as long.

Im going to clear out the DB real quick so if you add one while im clearing it the link may get messed up.

Ok cleaned up the database entires

Working 100% Perfect now, if a Mod could clean out the thread posts dealing with bugs and such that would be great! :hehe:
