Hi,

I would like to request the feature of likes and thanks be added to marketplace too.

Because i would like to thank my buyer for their purchases of posting sold.

I also would like to give likes to congratulate buyers and sellers who have sold their names.

Please make this happen.

Can increase bonding and make namepros a even closer family.

Because you know... when you grow old and ages... it is all about the little bits of things in life that matter, that are worth the remembrance, that makes you happy.

For example, you remember you hated school, and tests and quizzes sucks, but it is the little bits of things like getting detentions with your classmates together after school, taking risk of eating and drinking during lessons, speaking foul to teachers on their backs, drawing cartoons all over the books that makes your school life fun, happy, and worth remembering... it is the little bit of things that matter.

So lets make this happen.

Thanks,
Gil

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

This was the case in the past when NP was still on vBulletin.

I used to thank participating members once the thread has been closed. That was around 2012.

It no longer seems to be that way.

Yes, sometimes i see some big and bold bids for example in the domains auction, and i want to give the bidder a LIKE!

Great idea. :) We can do this once we modify our Post Quality add-on to prevent disliking in the marketplace. It's currently disabled because dislikes could be used to crash sales threads, and our add-on doesn't have the ability yet to only allow Likes/Thanks in a specific section.

Added to our feature list. ;)

Nice movement.

But, why prevent disliking?

I see there're many threads with garbage domain owners who wish to get fortune for them.

If we think as reverse, members can like the domains which have $50 around valuation but $2500 priced by owner.

We shouldn't flatter everything for my opinion, people need to see the reality.

Hmm, there can be a way to solve it. The thread starter can dislike the dislike on his own thread, that means the thread starter just like the ability to lock his own threads, be able to also remove any likes or thanks or dislikes as he wishes... so this gives freedom to all, and yet maintain control, and gives moderators and admins less headaches for the possibility that the thread starters will report the dislikes to be removed.. haha

Not a complete solution yet i think.

Let the rabbit hole goes deeper;

Then, thread op can remove dislikes while they have a great domain name generally but not specifically, and another op can also remove dislikes while they have a garbage : )

For example;

If comments are disabled in marketplace section, then like/dislike shouldn't be allowed too, otherwise let the dogs out! : )
