IMPORTANT Marketplace Rule Update - Domain In Title

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
IMPORTANT: ALL domain related Marketplace "Sales" threads MUST now have at least 1 domain name in the title (No exceptions).

This rule will greatly increase the navigational ability for buyers to find domains that pique their interest and cut down on all the wasted time many buyers have been complaining about over the years when they end up clicking to visit threads with misleading or punch-line titles.

Lets face it, you all want to sell your domain names. To do that we need to make changes like these so that buyers become more active and engaging. Making things harder on buyers, makes it harder for everyone to sell.

Effective immediately, this rule goes into play across the entire domain related marketplace forums. We understand that a change like this may take a little time to get used to and will keep that in consideration as we move forward.

Thanks for understanding as we continue to move forward towards a better and more professional NamePros where both buyers and sellers can collaborate more effectively.

I like this change a lot. I have a question about this though. What happens if you are selling multiple domains in one post?

You must put at least one domain in title (your choice), possibly more more depending on space available.
Good move, because we are all fed up with misleading titles like "Premium domains, look inside etc.". I hardly browse the topics anymore because they are like Kinder Eggs but usually disappointing

I sometimes think "premium domain" has been unofficially redefined as "this domain is premium because I spent money on it."

As sdsinc pointed out, it's at least one domain in title, so i would suggest that if you have a batch of domains, select the best of the batch to use in the title. You are more than welcome to list multiple domains in the title, but there needs to be at least 1.

This transition in the rule may take a little while to get everyone on the same page with old habits and that don't frequent the rules or announcement pages. So bear with us as we slowly get everything in order and smoothed out. The water may be a little choppy at first, but should calm down after a while.
