.mobi Let's show 'em how it's done - End users, that is

Would you like to help end users learn how to use .mobi? It's easy - just show 5 friends how to reach a .mobi, any .mobi over the holidays.

The team that brought http://recalledtoys.mobi has a special request: if you are shopping this holiday season, would you please show 5 people at toy stores how to reach recalledtoys.mobi and show them what it's for?

We would like to reach as many people as possible to learn about that site, especially people who might be buying toys, and so far the response has been quite positive.

If you don't want to go to toy stores, would you please show 5 people at mobile phone stores how to use it? Let them know that demonstrating .mobi sites could help them sell their internet service plans.

If you have a friend who is a reporter, or a tv news anchor, we would love to talk to that person, too. The more end users learn how to use .mobi, the sooner they will want to see more - including yours!

following steps very helpful for those that didn't access web on their phone before.

1. Select "web" from your mobile device's menu
2. Select "go to URL"
3. Type in RecalledToys.mobi with your number pad or keypad, just like you would for text messaging
4. View RecalledToys.mobi
5. Type in the toy you wish to search in the search box using your keypad
6. Read the alert if there is one for the toy you selected

It's that simple. Most wireless carriers charge extra for using the internet, however, many companies have a monthly plan for unlimited mobile internet usage.

Try entering the word 'lead' and see what you get :yell:

If you don't have time to type any text, just select 1 after you get to the site - very scary and very effective at the same time.

YW Coast. Great job writing that. As a fellow women mobier/mobian, I am so proud of what you and mejcdj has brought to .mobi table in general. Really look up to you both- set great example to us all.

Have told my sis via email, friend ( a mother of two-on the phone) , and at Seattle's Best coffee-to the lady who works there- down the street . Next week ,am gonna head down to local library & talk to the Librarian as well. They have children's story time there and I see a lot of parents & children frequenting there.
