Legality with Celebrity & Sports Professional Domains

Hi I was interested in purchasing a particular domain name that i found available. But this particular domain is the first and last name of a famous sports professional.

This particular person is represented by an agency that already owns the .com domain for his name but does not own .tv. Would there be any conflict if I bought the domain and tried to market it or sell it? Is this legal or would it be wasting my time?
