Legal help needed

Hello

As this section was saying Legal issues online I thought it will be the right place to find some help.

The thing is that one company had interest in one of my project. They finalized the things and gave a press release. But then they had funds problems or don't know what but as there were no funds for the project. It was cancelled.

Now at that time they mentioned me as the CEO of that branch.

As of now I am not even working with them or anything.

So am I the CEO of that company?

I am not given any documents or anything mentioning that I am official CEO of that company. And I am not even paid as CEO. Plus that project which was under discussion is also not going on. So how am I even a CEO of a company.

Wouldn't anyone or any company give a press release and then cancel the project.

Did you sign anything? if you didnt sign anything then you are not employed as CEO, unless your being "paid" or have some kind of vested interest in this company share wise you should be fine, i suggest you tell them to remove you from there company.

Happens often. "Life happens" and causes many projects, business and personal to be changed or cancelled. You're out of that job.
