Any ballpark figures for a quick flip? I already called a custom knife maker earlier and he asked me how much I'd be willing to sell it for but I told him id get back to him after I finally secured the domain, so that at least tells me there's interest. It was first registered in 2000. Thanks!

lil shop= $500
Medium shop= $1000
Large shop= $2000, and subject for negotiation.

Good luck!

Nokta says $3,118
Pestibot says $180

I say $0

In fact Bill, you should pay the guy with an actual skill to take it off your hands.

searches or zero searches = zero affair with the product. The name, will work itself. Hello, the advantage of advertising.

I'm pretty new to domaining but that's what I originally thought as well. The value could be in the name itself and not quite the SEO. I called some small time knife maker and he seemed interested so if worst comes to worst I think I'll at least make my money back

The obstacle I see with this domain is that...

I'm knife collector, I also know a lot of other knife collectors and none of us own a leather knive nor do we talk about owning one. Reason being is that the correct term is: leather cutter and people who would normally require that are artisan's in the leather industry. Now apart from a few knife stores (I can assure most knife stores don't stock leather cutters) I don't see much commercial value in this domain. I'm not at all trying to be negative here but merely highlighting an obstacle....the trade artisans who would use a leather knife are unlikely to be interested in buy a domain name related to a tool they use...no more than a car mechanic would be interested in buy a domain name like spanner.com

I think you might be able to get $xx or if you lucky then low $xxx for it from a knife store

Just my 2 cents...

yeah but this dude already got on the phone with an end user and got that end user interested :D. He's going to be a great domainer.

Small shop knife maker, offer him $500. I seen lots of worthless domain name here and there; that for some reason people buys it.

Just my opinion but I agree with @ZapNano on this one. Leather Knives are used specifically for the purpose of leather cutting and is a highly used tool within it's craft. There's more than one type of leather knife too.

If you're looking for a quick flip I'd say $500.00 to an end user but if you have time to reach out to others then I'd be asking slightly over 1K. I'd be OK around the 1K mark though.

It's not a bad domain, just watched a youtube video of a guy using leather knives before I replied.

Thank you for your input! As long as I make back the $69 I paid for it at auction I'll be happy and consider it a free lesson! Thanks again!

Bear in mind "how much" is not an offer nor indication of how much they'd pay.
They might have in their mind $15.

I agree that's its a tough sell and with few end users and end users with low budgets if even care about domain name branding.

Good luck though
