Last year I made over 25k!

Before i got into domaining, i started a blog. It's been a little over a year and i made over $25,000.00 with my blog. http://www.bloggernoob.com/bloggernoob-a-year-of-making-money-online/14/

Anyone else make money with their blogs? What types of websites are easiest to monetize? On my blog, i found that running contests worked best as far as marketing.

The website in question is a targeted content site that has actually doubled in income since original posting on this thread. I do not pay for any advertising, all traffic is generic from SEO.

that's very impressive. making 4k a month from one site is really amazing. keep up the great work. but you didn't answer my question. is the income from affiliate commissions...or adsense?

My appologies... Neither, I am a broker for several payday loan companies... that is just one of over 20 similar sites, that all make money, but not as much...yet!

I just made my first affiliate site last week. Have already seen one sale for $25. With time, I'm pretty sure I'll get the hang of developing and building traffic, then its all a matter of making them in bulk.

A $7 domain, plus two days of work - if it can make ever $100 through affiliate sales in an year, that's way more than reg fee man...

Times that by say, 150 more the course of a year and you have a nice secondary income source
