I know there's a lot of opinions on which lander to lead with. For me, in my current flow, I am primarily GoDaddy/Afternic (so confusing) for exposure alone. They seem to lead all discussion on sales. Also, although I find their GUI extremely clunky, I like having all my domains where I can see quick stats. I'm sure I have a lot to learn.

I want to branch into listing on other marketplaces, Atom, Spaceship, NamePros, custom... etc. My question is what is the best stack to maximize exposure, mitigate fees, etc. One approach I've seen observing someone like DomainBooth (mucho respect) is using a custom Atom Marketplace, and then also cross-posting on GoDaddy but at a higher premium to offset the loss of commission discounts using Afternic nameservers.

Also, I just want something simple. I see so much clunk in this space with tools, websites, etc. Somebody would make bank if they created a Domain Management System that elegantly created a space to inventory, manage, research and have a snapshot of your entire domaining business in one place. Maybe it exists and I haven't found it.

Experimentation is usually how you find the setup that fits your strategy, so treat this as a starting point from what we see on the Afternic side only.

A good starting point is price. Under $2,000, the Custom Lander with a Buy it Now price and Lease to Own tends to work well, and above $10,000, a Request Price lander is the usual choice.

In between, it depends on how closely your Buy it Now price tracks market value. The closer it is, the higher you can take the Custom Lander, especially with Lease to Own on, since buyers can see the value without a broker building it.

If your floor is well below your Buy it Now price, move to Request Price sooner.

We'd love to hear about how you'd like to see the UI improve. DM us!

@GoDaddy I see you're not mentioning the dedicated "Buy It Now" lander type (that comes without LTO) anymore. For BIN only, should we no longer use that one, and use the Custom Lander (without LTO) instead?

"Experimentation" is what GoDaddy refers to as A/B testing using real customer data.

Sarcasm aside, every platform is different. Maximize your selling odds by using them to see what works best.

Do not obsess with the personalities of other investors, detach the actions from the personas. A strategy that works well is a set of lessons, most of it based on many years of domain investing experience. It's not a secret bible, it's available on NamePros, for example.
