Keyword Discovery question...

There seems to be some confusion about what Keyword Discovery scores mean (at least in my head). Are the numbers indicative of searches per day, month, or year?

If you click the question mark above the numbers in the results window this is what it says:

"This column contains the number of times that each keyword or phrase has been searched for over the last 12 months."

So the numbers obtained thru a KD search are for a full year, correct?

Wow! I missed that. So not only are the numbers across multiple platforms but they're for a whole year also. So those words I've been searching with xx,xxx results are only xxx-x,xxx monthly searches. I think I've paid too much for several domains

Stub, those searches are as you know not exact numbers, these numbers vary quite a bit and you can always expect a bigger number in percentage overall.
How much?

I can't really say - but if you have searches in the thousands that's really not as bad as you might think.
