It seems that Sedo’s attempt to sell the domain kerryedwards.com has failed and that the domain has returned to a photo album for the Kerry Edwards family. What happened here? Did Kerry Edwards and his family receive anything at all for the month or two the domain was for sale at Sedo? What happened to all the offers from within and outside the party? Were any offers made?

Does anyone have any information concerning this domain sale and what happened? If so please reply.

i dont think there were any real offers imo the asking price was to high the guy could have sold it to the campaign and make a few bucks but i think he played his cards incrrectly and got to greedy thats why he got zilch!!

Why doesn't the guy try another approach? Plan A didn't work, what about a Plan B or C? It seems to me that there is something that could still be gained from the name, whether by lowering the price, (ie 10M), or developing a site to capitalizie on the 15 minutes of fame the name has recieved. A tongue in cheek comparison w/ other historic blunders might work- profiles on John DeLorean, Pete Best, Shelley Long etal. hehe

I feel the same way. Looks like a nice family who probably don’t know much about domain names. I hope he got something as it was parked at Sedo. I just tried to go to his page and The page cannot be displayed??? Domainhop is down too. What’s going on in America?
