The biggest promoter of dotcom during the Super Bowl adfest wasn't GoDaddy nor SquareSpace.
Ironically, nobody highlighted the need to control your own domain and online brand presence than Kanye West.

They conveniently forgot to mention he then removed all products except for a single tshirt with a swastika on it and then got his Shopify account banned.

I think they pulled the plug on his website.

When you depend on third party platforms, you can be removed or banned anytime.
This isn't the first or last time a celebrity or popular figure will be removed from third party platforms.

President Trump was removed from every social media platform, built his own, and has had all his accounts restored to X, Facebook, and other the popular platforms.

Censorship is a slippery slope.

Some are just controversial and not everyone is going to respond in the same way.

What a click-baitey title. He spent $7M+ on the "no-budget ad" ($7M on the slot + definitely spent something on the recording, but let's say it's negligible), and the $19M is revenue from sales of physical goods at a highly discounted price, not net earnings. The only thing that's right is the fact that he spelled out the domain and people managed to type it in.
