Website builder company SquareSpace.com has made a heavy advertising push this last year. Their latest ad was shown during Super Bowl XLIX, a multi-million dollar spot which featured what appears to be a semi-ficticious website called DreamingWithJeff.com. The website sells bizarre sleeping tapes by actor and musician Jeff Bridges. They're a bit comical, and weird. In reality, the website states that the retail price of any sales will be going to nokidhuntry.org. The commercial and website are probably a bit confusing to anyone not already familiar with squarespace or what they do. What is interesting however, from a domain standpoint is:
1) The domain was registered January 24, 2015, just 1 week before the game.
2) It was registered at newly formed registrar, Google, Inc.
The website is already at 66,686 on alexa just days after the ad which just goes to show the power of integrating media (TV + internet), and how quickly a new site can make a splash and start trending.. of course spending millions of dollars to promote the ad helped to
