To me it only sounds like a name or nickname.
It might be worth something to somebody with that name.
As for branding something with it ... it's a bit of a long shot.

It's a five word .com, and it's a "unique" word that could possibly be a new brand.

In English though, it does sound a bit like "gypsy", which has negative connotations, so would put some off.
