I would like to know what your basic idea is about a first name domain is , Jezay.com is taken but Jezay.net and the others is available , is there value in buying some extensions as its a LLLLL.com and a first name domain and LLLLL domains hold some value .
Please advice if it's a good idea to buy as an investment .

I would stick with .com short, numeric, character and keyword domains if you're starting out. Check http://namebio.com and http://dnjournal.com to see what is selling right now.

In general, .com is much more popular and valuable than the other extensions, so there are .com domains that hold value despite .net being available.
