Gotta Love PayPal.
But sometimes they suck, like when you need to deposit money fast, and you have to wait their insane 5 days to have the money taken from your Bank acount and added to your Paypal, or you would have to sell something online immediately to try get that buyers money deposited into your PayPal account with some quick Fire Sale.

It never ever seemed fast enough, until now!

It really does make sense to keep your balance at "$0" and this in fact helps out tremendously at still being able to make your online purchases at anytime at all without the headache of the dreadful 5-day wait.

How about a reloadable vcc? Or even a one time customized one? It's pretty much the same thing but a good solution for people who are not in countries where the above mentioned cards are available. You can generate one from your bank for almost free. Most major banks offer this service.

I'm not really sure what a vcc is. I assume the c is credit card but have no idea what the "v' stands for so I cant answer your question. I just looked up vcc on Bing and didnt see any results.

As for the Countries available, good question.
I just went to Alexa and saw their traffic is mainly U.S. and Pakistan.

Then I went to their site and saw this...
MoneyPak can be purchased at thousands of stores nationwide
so unfortunately it only looks as if it is available to U.S residents right now, but I honestly believe this is such a HUGE concept, that they would have to make their presence WorldWide within the year. I mean, globally everyone shops online and constantly needs something right now.

If these servies don't exist in other countries as of now, It sure would be a great investment for anyone with some very deep pockets!

Within their info they say it is in "beta" right now only offered to a select few members. I am sure this is in response to the MoneyPak success. Hopefully it takes, then we all know that would be WorldWide so that would be a relief to everyone reading this outside of the U.S.

There are good reasons to leave your paypal account at 0, especially if you have a grandfathered pp account that is not backed by a cc.

No one can do a chargeback. With all the scammers running loose on eBay and elsewhere, you really have to protect yourself.

I have two pp accounts, one for accepting money, and one for paying money out. I'm an honest person who has only done one chargeback in my life (against Yahoo, long story), but have come to recognize that one has to protect him/herself from scammers who know how to game paypal.

Yeah, I like the virtual credit card idea.

I've been using the same type of product for roughly 2 years now to buy things like concert tickets that were credit card only.

There lies a huge potential risk here. If both the accounts have your real info, which i am assuming you do, and you keep them at 0 balance and are hit by a chargeback and you dont pay for it then both your accounts will be suspended as they can be easily linked. So ultimately you either have to pay the chargeback or are basically banned from paypal for good. Not good idea.

Name, etc. the same and correct, but different emails and different banking accounts.

I have never had a chargeback done against me from paypal, but I don't sell domains or any other intangible goods.

Occasionally, I'll just sell "stuff" on ebay from my house or buy jewelry or mineral/rock specimens (my other love).
