PayPal - Auction - Question???

To add funds from your bank account to your PayPal account it usually takes 5 Business days. If it is the 2nd, or 3rd day of the transfer process (I know the money has not shown up in your PayPal account as of yet).

I'm in the middle of a winning auction, transferred the money from my Bank to my PayPal 2 days ago, so officially it is not there yet (but officially it was out of my Bank Account immediately) :lol:


Ok, so here is my question:
If you make a payment based on that transfer of money coming from your Bank Account, will PayPal make the payment (based on seeing the incoming Bank Account money)?

Based on past experience paypal will make the payment instantly only if you have a credit card tied to your account.

Not true, at least in my case - no c/c on file - I have my bank account setup with Paypal and if I don't
have funds in paypal - it still let's me purchase instantly - and sends the
debit request to my bank instead.

As for Paypal seeing the incoming transaction - no, they will not wait
as soon as you click "buy" it's going either to your bank or your creditcard.
If your c/c doesn't have the funds and bank isin't linked - it will not allow the purchase.
