Showcase your domain names that were once used by a big company.

Used as in "our website" not owned by a big company with hundreds of domains and big is relative but I mean to say that it got 1mil+ in funding or sold for 10mil+ or something like that.

Umm, not many companies are going to auction off the domain name they use for their main website without also selling the company as well. And most big companies aren't going to spend a million plus dollars on a website just to let the domain expire and make no attempt to get it back.

I actually met a guy who was related to a friend who sold typos or misspellings of Facebook to Facebook for $300k . $100k each.

As for me I reg EatThc.com and after using screenshots.com saw that it use to have a marijuana edibles shop online.

You should develop that and find a THC edibles company that would be willing to drop ship for you.

i understand what you're saying, but some companies go belly up, some get rebranded, some are acquired by competitors, i wasn't talking about big websites, i was talking about a legit business with a website.

Aelita.com was dropped and catched maybe, by Snapnames.com, yesterday.
The domain really has very good backlink juice too..
It used to raised $10 M Series A fund on Nov 2002.

I once owned Rubberific.com. This domain was used by a rubber mulch business out of Texas that shut its doors. One day, I received an unexpected phone call. To my surprise, the company that ended operations was just a reseller of the product made by the people I was on the phone with. We made a deal and the domain now belongs to the rightful owners.
