It IS Almost Painful

Sometimes going into the reg. of the day thread is just painful. I post in there occasionally, when I register a domain I have thought about for awhile. But.... just some of those domains have zero chance of ever being resold. If developed by the owner, they don't really make sense, either. Not all of the domains, mind you, but a startlingly large number cause me to wince.

I have done some doozies over the years, bought a couple domains even, that I later dropped. As a newbie, I owned a grieviously large number of .bz domains, believing I was on the cusp of a great marketing ploy. But, man, it is like watch a new train wreck every week. After a couple of years, you are just saying to yourself, take a car, man, ride a bike, anything - but don't get on that particular train.

Had to vent, sorry.

Yes, the hand-registered names that are posted are most all painful to look at and worthless. Ironically, is it's still relatively easy to hand reg relatively good keyword domains (especially 3 or 4 words long) in good categories too, which can get regular search-engine and type-in traffic and are far better than 95% plus of other new reg fee domains.
