Issues again with Registerfly

I have moved all my names out of registerfly. But I still have $150 with them. They don't want to refund me. So I'm trying to buy some names using this money, and then transfer them out. To use the funds, you have to use their quickcheckout option. But you can't find it when you check out!!! Does anyone has this issue too? So I am basically asking if anyone was able to use the available funds when buying names from registerfly.

I have not been able to use any of the funds in my account since RF took a nosedive.

That's not encouraging. In their FAQ, they say they refund money if it was a mistake from their side, which was the case for me. I asked them tonight again for a refund highlighting that note in their FAQ. Worst company I dealt with!

They are basically saying you should use the money, but when you are about to buy something, there is no link to the money you deposited.
They are just a bunch of thieves!!! Please everyone be aware! Never do business with them!!! Worst registrar!

Unfortunately it seems you might be late to this party. I believe most people are aware of RegisterFly's reputation and disintegration as a reliable registrar. I am fortunate to never having used their system.

Im sorry for your trouble, I might recommend detailing your situation, as your unable to process an order with their email. Asking in detail, how to spend the money they wont refund as your unable to do so.

How disgusting that they will not refund your money considering it is rightfully yours. I am ashamed to have ever done business with a company like that.

Spade, I might be late, but not too late...I actually started having problems since January, and I tried unsuccessfully to transfer domains out of registerfly, until recently most of them were transfered by ICANN to godaddy (in my case).

I don't think I will waste more time with them anymore. I don't want to go anymore with the option of using the $150 on new products (assuming that there is way to do that). I don't think it's worth it. But I believe that such a company won't sustain, and the American law system will enter to protect the customers. So I hope that at some point money will go back to its owners.

As much as I would love to agree with you. I cant imagine a company like this ever doing the "right" thing. I see them going out of business and filing for bankruptcy protection before money ever comes back to its right owners.

Finally, after many exchanges, they enabled the quick checkout feature in my account. They said it's disabled by default for security reasons. How professional this sounds! But to be fair, i wanted to update you on that. I got few .tvs to use the money there.

Ok, let's say I wanna transfer now. Will I have to pay an extra $30 for godaddy for each .tv? Or do they have deals to encourage people to transfer domains?

So "quick" checkout isn't quick... Par for the course at RegisterFried.
:)

I'd gladly give them my 19 cent balance... just get me off their mailing list telling me daily that my domains that were transferred out a year ago are expiring!

Hi aboujouj83, I have the exact same problem. I still have nearly $200 in my account, but I'm unable to spend it. The money has been there for over a year...
I just submitted a support ticket tho


They said it's disabled by default for security reasons
yeah right!!! By default? doesn't make any sense does it.
