"In an ongoing effort to strengthen our Sponsored Search and Content Match marketplaces, Yahoo! will be introducing a new traffic quality feature called "quality-based pricing". This feature is rolling out beginning today and we plan to continue to expand it over time.
"

does this mean that we will see the drop on publisher's revenue?

Personally I think someone needs to form a group of some sort to speak out against these "smart-pricing" schemes. These are clearly just attempts for PPC companies to offset the cost of click-fraud, while merely penalizing the publishers and offering no real solution to the problem. It's a lazy fix that does absolutely nothing but devalue ad space across the Net. And from what I have heard, these "savings" are not being passed on to the advertisers anyway. Pretty soon, advertisers will be paying higher rates, publishers will be making considerably less, and the only ones profiting from advertising on the Internet will be PPC companies.

Pretty soon? It's been happening for quite a while now.

What I'm more curious about is this: for Adwords advertisers that get the Google slap (high increases in CPC)..... are these increases passed along to publishers/parking programs?
