Could someone tell me if this domain has a real PR or not?

I picked up from an expired list. I think it HAD some Alexa ranking as well.

Here is a trick that saves me a ton of time. It may not catch all of the fake PR names, but it will never tell you a name is fake, if it is in fact not. Alexa actually tells you if the name is redirected, thus a fake PR. Be careful when using the Alexa Toolbar or search function for this tehnique, because it only works if you look at the actual profile/Traffic Ranking page for the domain.

Basically you just type the name into Alexa as you normally would to check the ranking and graph. Now look under the search bar where it says the name of the domain. Does it still say the domain you are interested in? If not the PR is guaranteed fake. If so, you still may want to verify it somewhere else, but I have found that they are usually good. If you are going to check Alexa anyway, this can save a lot of time.

I got "no data" when search for ASKDA.com on Alexa.com.

None of the domains that I have are being redirected because I own them and I know.

The trick with Alexa is for expired names and names that you do not currently own, but are checking up on.

I see what you mean about the conflicting results. These sites appear to have PR's of 3. Some sites are showing 0, but I believe that could be a result of some of the Google servers being down that certain PR checker sites are using. If the site shows 0 on multiple names, check some names that you know have a high PR. I could be wrong about the PR being valid.

Type it into google...

cache:www.google.com (your domain)

If it says the cache is from your domain and shows the page which exists on it then its valid. If it displays another site then it's fake. You can fool google into displaying another domains page rank fairly easily.

Some domains don't have a cache, this means they have been discluded by google for irregular activities. If thats the case it's pretty worthless unless you apply for the domain to be reconsidered which can take months.

For a test once i used adobe's page rank, obev.net became a PR9!

I checked the following on
http://www.smartpagerank.com/bulk-pagerank-checker.php

Yahoo.com
ASKDA.com
MoneyFeeder.com
HeyBuyer.com
QA-U.com

They all showing PR3 this time. I am wondering if this info is realiable. It is getting tougher to verify PR nowadays.

I did this cache:www.google.com askda.com and 2 results came up and they are not my site.

I do not know what is going on. I registered the domain form an expired list almost a year ago. As far as I know, I did not redirect it anyway to make the PR fake. I did not register the domain for PR because I did not even know it has a PR3; I registered the domain because I like the name.

QA-U.com is PR3
askda.com is PR3
if what you say about the cached site is true then previous owner redirected QA-U.com to askda.com to get it's PR3, :imho:

I registered about 50+ domains in 2007. These 4 are just some of them. They are probably not related. I listed them in this thread just because they are all PR3 from my 50+ list. I was not aware that they are PR3 until two days ago.
