Hi guys
i was wondering is it legal to have google.com.xx where xx is a country code
i want to buy this and make a site like google and earn money from my adsense search box

Does it violate any law ? trademark or what ever ?

[i will not get it but just as scenario ]

the onset.

If you're looking to justify your intent rather than ask what's wrong with this,
then don't bother. This forum isn't really friendly towards such.

Not sure if they'll be able to address issues in Lebanon. But if you can afford a

Obviously they can't take a subdomain if the domain is non-infringing. However, you then leave the simple remedy of UDRP out of it and force a C&D or lawsuit. With a UDRP, the worst that happens is you lose the name and get a bad reputation. In a lawsuit, I don't think you want to defend yourself against a multi-billion dollar company that could ask for anything in damages. and cost you lawyer fees to defend.
