After ten years of successfully answering millions of questions, AskJeeves has re-branded itself as Ask.com. “Today, as Ask.com we are singularly focused on helping users find what they need through the complicated, exciting, ever-changing web. No matter what the search, Ask.com is committed to meeting the search challenge. When it comes to our product, we are continuously evolving and improving. Our brand deserves a clean break to open people up to seeing how good we are.”

Do you think the change from AskJeeves to Ask.com is vital to the company survival or their ability to compete with other search engines?

Thanks for your feedback

i think that it strengthens their identity as a search engine. ask jeves sounds a bit like a site where you ask someone questions.

I think so, and I like how they have made AJ "retire". It has given them a bit more traffic!

I prefer ask.com as well, as long as it generate real search results and not pure advertising...
