So, we can use WURFL to redirect a mobile device to a mobile version. Can you do it the opposite way?

Have a mobile site and have a redirect for those that are using a PC? The reason I am asking is because the WURFL thing seems like you need to stay on top of the new mobile devices to redirect them and it doesn't always work as planned.

I just want to simplify it by having the main site a mobile version with a redirect if they are using a PC. This is probably a stupid question and the answer might be obvious, but I have not really developed sites for over 10 years, so I am way behind the curve at this point as so much has changed.

I'm not a tech person (unfortunately) but a mobi-to-PC auto-sensing redirect script must exist.

If not, it must be invented.

Provocative prediction: If and when a critical mass of mobi sites gets developed and discovered by users, more and more people will start going to mobi sites from their PCs, simply because they often prefer a no-frills, just-the-facts type of info presentation when they are searching for information in a hurry. And that does happen (all too often) when we are sitting in front of a PC too.
