Is there a custom free search?

Hello

I was wondering if there is a free search to put to my site.
As you can see www.cheatstomb.com I have one from another site but it doesnt search my site only. It searches the web.
Is there something I can use?

Why not just write your own search? All you need to do is create a table which is the frequency distribution of all the words on your site (this could be run as a cron job, or triggered on page update), mapped to the pages they occur on. It's really quite trivial in theory. Then you can decide for yourself how results are ranked and have exactly the type of search you want. Creating a small-scale search engine is not as hard as google would have you believe.

Speaking of Google, I just remembered...you can put a google search box on your site, but it will only show you pages google has indexed for you. It's basically the equivalent of using site:yoursite.tld appended to whatever they search for. Although, you can get revenue from those searches too...
