In Need Of A Custom Search Engine!

I'm in great need for a custom search engine for my lyric website and I was hoping someone here can help me. I have no idea how to set one up or create one so that my users can automatically search all the lyrics on my website.

I was trying to use the Google Site Search feature, but Google doesn't update very quickly so then my new lyrics that I've added would probably get in the search engine three weeks later.

Anyone here can help me out? The biggest problem that I think I have is that my lyrics are stored in HTML files and not in databases.

MSN Live API are also there now.

On the other hand this thing will always be back by sometime. So if possible then just code some script out that can open each HTML file of yours and dump it's lyrics into the database. Once the thing is in database. You can start adding new lyrics in the database directly and a database driven php search engine will be perfect.

In most of the cases the both ways will take more or less same time.
