Is that a smart selling tactic to attach domain whois history including creation to expiry date while writing an email to the CEO? Just to help him understand that the domain has been in use before the incorporation date of his company or before the domain that his company is currently using vice-versa.

I think you could mention the age of the domain, and that could be helpful if it was substantial. I don’t think I would provide any more specific whois history than that, unless maybe the CEO was implying or outright accusing you of squatting on the name.
