Is SnapNames only for expired domains?
Seems the SnapNames auction is very effective as the domains are getting good (i.e. high) prices for their auctions.
Obviously, the winning bidder pays the final auction close price, but who receives the payment (I am assuming that the original registrant dropped it and did not renew)?
Is there some other auction system that is as effective (in fetching high prices) as SnapNames for domains that are a few days to several weeks from expiration?

Any comments or feedback? I would like to put some domains for auction sale in an environment as good as or better than SnapNames. Any suggestions?
TIA
