Snapnames payment to original registrant for expired domain auction?

I thought I remember hearing that registrants of domains that expire and are sent to Snapnames' expired domain auctions receive a portion of the expired auction proceeds. Does anyone know if this is still the case or where I can find info out about this?

I believe this is based on the registrar. Network Solutions or Fabulous, not sure if any others share in the aftermarket sale price.

Yah.. I got an email maybe two months back that they wanted a postal address to mail me my 11.75$ check to.

I ignored it. But it tells me its still being done. It was regged at netsol.

I believe network solutions shares 20% and sends them to snapnames but not sure on the details.
Fabulous is 60% but they go to namejet and you have to opt in to the program.
