Is Sedo dead?

Tried to contact them using their ticket system for weeks. I have sent 5 tickets now but no response. Tried emailing them directly too but no luck. Also when trying to create a direct auction I get a big red error message. Have they abandoned the site? I can understand it being a busy period but has anyone had to wait weeks for a response?

I really don't understand how Sedo sells so many domains based on Namebio....

maybe it's the brokers doing outbound or something, but I sent an upload ticket.. it took several days before I got a response..

Besides that their system is clunky. Doing search just give you the "top" 2000 results according to them... meaning if you want to search for a term that may have 3500 results.. you only see part of them..

There's no live chat help..

Honestly, because it's free to list.. I try to list it with them.. but now even that's an issue.. if the email you use with them doesn't match the whois email.. they want extra ways to prove you on the domains.. instead of simply sending an email to the whois email to verify...

Not surprised by much from SEDO anymore.. worst case pick up the phone, pay a bit of Long Distance and try to get some answers by phone..

they are the most popular website for selling and buying domains, so you can expect some problems with support.

I think they are the most trusted website concerning auctions, sales and listings, not compared to other websites with a lot of manipulations and fake sales and news

That definitely looks like something.... those names arent even worth that! Lol

I've had hundreds of domains listed with them and not one sale...most are starting at the $90 level and several would be considered super premium.

All sales have come through parked page landers.

thats actually seriously how they operate
only work days
from 9 to 5

and holidays closed of course
even the reported sales are not updated on weekends

Do you think thats perhaps only for this christmas-new years stretch though? I’ve emailed ALOT of domain sites in the past week and the only reply I got was from Undeveloped, within 2 days. Other, I messaged before Xmas and am still waiting.

I've needed their assistance on many occasions for some issues and every single time I went to Live Chat it was closed...
it used to show 1-2 hours on Fridays and now it shows 1-2 hours on Saturdays instead..

It's really not a holiday schedule thing.

Their regular customer service tickets do get usually answered within 48 hours though out of the holiday period
