There are domainers in this forum who make a living from domaining, making 4, 5 and 6 figure sales regularly. Takes a lot of effort, dedication, cashflow and capital to do the same.

As in any business output varies on inputs.

Many of us do this as side business, as we lack many of the above stated factors and just to be sure.

Sometimes, it starts side hustle, and ends up a full time thing.

Other times... other way around, before.. Nvm.
hard work. need capital, but opportunities, still.

Sometimes, all it takes is a couple of good 5 figures sales to dive full-time into this.:xf.smile:

Exactly. Some people look at it like
“All you need is one sale.” Which is true.

list BIN at 1 market, & list for sale everywhere. Have DN lander an actual page that resolves.. .com. Just the little things...
i dont like those who view it as a “Hobby”.
It’s a real business — Part time or otherwise.

Basically am a 20 year boy not sure weather I should take it as a full time or part time , but i guess many domainers pursue it as a part time.

the simple logic is you can start it as a part time, and if you see that you are generating enough income and it's growing to make you a living then go for it.

I've only started recently, barely been a NP member for a couple years now. Had been researching the field for longer though as I had an interest and some former small buys a decade ago.

Anyway I probably have one of the fastest growth curve ever. Posting sales daily, and have already refined my methods in 2+ years. I'm > 6-fig in sales this year and in a couple more years I'm gonna pass 1M in sales and good 6-fig in profits. All of which I am 100% sure unless this world ends tomorrow.

Yes you can but you need a ton of experience and also an edge.

I actually have several. I'm a serial entrepreneur with a couple decades experience in running businesses, I know exactly how to do projections, and I have a proper budget. I always work with a budget. You can't pull 6-fig without a 5 to 6 fig budget, in most cases. And I also feel like I'm born to this, learning fast almost like sponge absorbing water. And I also know I've just begun.

There you go. Unsure if this helps or scares you OP.

Edit: In other words, yes it can be done but 90% + of those trying never make profit overall. Up to you to see if you can. It aint' easy. And I know I'm one of the lucky ones, and grateful for that.

The short answer: yes, you can. :)
The long answer: depends on many different factors. Technically of course it is possible, but even if you have a proper dedication and patience (which you will need a lot!), being 20 years old, you have so many temptations and challenges both on professional and personal levels (and this is awesome, that's what life is all about!) that it will be harder to fully dedicate yourself just to domain world.

My advice - listen to your heart. Sounds cliche, but at the end whether you do it full time, part time or don't do it all - you should be comfortable with it deep inside.

    Good luck!

I used to want to but no so sure now as want to explore some other interests and not enough time. Stick to holding and digging heels in slow down on buying.
