Is my starter portfolio decent?

Ok so I would like to get some input on my starter portfolio. I actually had some names in the past but still consider this a "starter" portfolio.

honestly - from one newbie to another - the only one i would have bought would be the smart car name FWIW. LearningHowToTrade.com is worth 1100 according to Valuate

Decent ? Hardly IMO.
The problem is that there is no shortage of 'decent' domains. But that is not enough. Domains have to be great in order to sell.
What is the problem ? Well, these are regfee domains. Why should I buy any of yours if I can find other available domains for regfee, of equivalent or higher quality ? Simply put, these names are not compelling enough.

It doesn't mean you can't make a small profit from them, but we're talking about few bucks.

...meaning you are doing ok, just dont renew any of them, keep sharpening your skills and hunting for better names

I think the only 2 with any potential are learninghowtotrade and buyingsmartcars. The rest you will be lucky to recover your investment. Even with these two there are problems. "learning" and "how to" have basically the same meaning and therefore 1 is redundant and makes the domain too long for somebody to type in their browser. "Buying" is just an expansion of "buy" and suffers from similar problems. You would need to work hard and develop these domains and then add backlinks to get any traffic to them, and income from them, in order to sell them for a profit. This is beyond most noobs (and experienced) domainers. Without development, I see these two as about the same as the rest of your portfolio. Who do you think are the end users for either of these domains?
