Is it worth investing in LLL.VIPs?

There's plenty left, but they are all premiums, and so worth about 1K each.

What do you all think the chances are that this VIP extension picks up steam?

I personally did not go for any 3 letter .vip domains. My take is 3 letters are good if they are actual words. Acronyms only become valuable if they are the right combination of letters, or after the extension has sold all the good words or if the extension can be used as a domain hack. Unfortunately .vip cannot be used as a domain hack, there simply are no words in English ending in vip. I do not know if this is true with other languages.

One word .cc .io .co .xyz .club .info etc sold for $$$$ so why not .vip

if you register domain for 1k you already paid end user price to registry. so you cant make really profit from that.

If the price were $10 per name, I would try to get some. For a thousand bucks? No way!

I can get a LLL .ORG or .CO via a drop catch service, twenty times cheaper. Maybe LLL .VIPs will be considered valuable a day, I don't know, but a thousand dollars is a lot of money for a brand new extension.

But that's just my way of thinking.
