Is it possible to "wear out" a keyword on Sedo?

I think I've seen discussions on this before, about Sedo lowering one's EPC after a while of getting one's names. It's happening to me now, and I'm not sure if it's Sedo or if it's what I've heard about Google lowering payouts for keywords that aren't converting well (since I think Sedo does a Google feed). In my case, it was a particular adult phrase that was originally paying out about 36 cents per click. Now it seems to be down around 18 cents per click, falling by about 3 cents per day. My name gets 800 uniques a day, so it's fairly noticeably dropping the revenue. Anyone else experiencing this, and is it a Sedo thing, a Google thing, or pretty much a potential problem anywhere you park?

I don't think that Google does adult ads.

Well, then whoever Sedo uses for adult...I keep hearing they use Google, but obviously they use someone for adult too since they allow and even welcome in adult parking.

I seen this with many domains at Sedo. For a while the CPC is decent, then it starts to drop. Sedo must think we are all thick. I had other domains with other parking sites with the same keywords and same ads being shown on landing pages with the same google feed, but sedo were paying less than half the other provider... figure that one out.. Sedo keeps a large chunk and hopes we cant be arsed moving domains away.

Hmm.. could it be that these are returning visitors or visitors from outside the US? I feel that returning visitor clicks, together with clicks from other countries get paid lesser. Not sure, Sedo would know better.

Most of the visitors are from the US, and most of them are from Yahoo Search, so unless the same people are searching the same terms everyday and then clicking the same link to my page and clicking the same links on the Sedo page, it's no excuse. Yea, the EPC from day to day since I put on the current optimization is: $.25 > $.24 > $.21 > $.17 > $.14 so far today. Yes, from 25 cents per click to 14 cents per click in 4 days. I'm emailing my SedoPro account manager about it now. I've been a long-time Sedo customer, so hopefully he will do me right on this, as this is costing me a lot of $$$. Unfortunately, I still haven't heard back from TrafficClub about approval, so I can't use Skenzo yet, so I'm stuck with this, Fab, or Parked, and Fab and Parked will likely see a serious drop in the CTR of the name, so I pretty much lose either way. Argh, this is so annoying!

For most of my high traffic domains parked ub Sedo, the EPC keep decreasing. So I always think this is normal in two reasons:

1.You know google adwords? The advertiser who bid higher get more chance to appear. So if your traffic is low, the highest advertiser can appear in your parking pages and get click--Of course you get high EPC. But if your traffic is high and your parking pages appear many times, the lower advertiser also will get chances to appear in your pages and you may get lower EPC. And what's more, every advertiser has their daily budget paid for their advertisement. If your parking pages appear too many times, the highest bid advertiser may run out of their daily budget, so the lower EPC advertisement appear.
2.Of course, if your natural traffic is high , there must be many returning visitors, the parking companies don't want to pay them the same as the first time they visit.

I have noticed the EPC of one domain decreaseing from 7.86EUR to 0.80 EUR.
Another one decreasing from ~2EUR to 0.20 EUR
Another very high traffic one decreasing from ~1.2 EUR to 0.03\0.04\0.05 EUR now.

So I always think they are normal.

If you like and if you have enough time, MAYBE this mothod can be help: change your keywords every a few days. But if you have thousands of domains ,that must be a time-consuming work, so I haven't done that :)

Well, the problem is that there was a keyword phrase that was way outperforming the rest, so I did the optimization for that phrase, and now it's paying less EPC than the rest, so all of a sudden something I was expecting $120/day from is making less than $80 and I can't do squat about it with working around keywords.

Also, regarding your theory about the adwords, the keyword there is DAILY budget. If DAILY budget was an issue, then I would see a trend of high EPC early, low EPC late each day, which would result in an average that would more or less stay the same. That's not what's happening however. The only thing I can think of is if they run out of OVERALL budget, which I guess COULD happen, but who knows. For what it's worth, the page is showing some different links that what I saw a couple days ago, so it does seem to be different, probably lower-paying advertisers.

I know your situation.
Maybe another method is parking it in another parking company, then another ,then another, then back to Sedo......
Try it please.

Now that I have it optimized well at Sedo, I can try that. It depends on if I run into the same problem on the Skenzo feed via TrafficClub. Apparently I was approved but just never got the approval email, but I guess the previous owner used to park it there or something because it's in someone else's portfolio there. I'm waiting for support there to remove it and then will move the name there. That is unless my SedoPro guy gives me good news.
