Is Blockchain a trademark ?

I'd like to ask if Blockchain is a trademark or can be used in domain names ?

As blockchains have been around since the 1960s, there is no chance of trademarking it. I've got a couple of blockchain names and Bitcoin names.

The "blockchain" term cannot be trademarked. Is like you would have "drone", "virtual reality" or "banking" trademarked, it's not possible.

I had an application for BITCOIN cancelled:

But there are some BITCOIN trademarks registered in Europe and Japan to the old Mt. Gox trading platform.
