.tv Is a .TV rating system in the future?

Just wondering. Do you think there will eventually be a 'rating system' (like the movies, G, PG, PG-13, R, NR-17) in the future for .TV?

Of course, with millions of videos, it would probably be voluntary until the gov figured out a way to 'automatically' screen all internet video for offensive content. I know that regular TV has been considering a rating system for a while now.

I am against any intervention, but on the other hand, it would be nice to let your kids go to a G or PG rated video site without having to worry, like I do now regarding You Tube.

Any suggestions or comments?

Jeeze .. I have been here before .. but surely there should be some sort of rating as to content .... even if its just .. driven by the originator .. they know their target audience and should rate accordingly ...

I shall light touch paper and retire to a safe distance ... as it seems somewhat emotive ... different people, different views .. but mine is that minors play a significant part of the internet generation ... and to some extent ... content should be rated for viewing with this in mind ..

The me.tv network needs to have this .. its been discussed before .. but .. its still an issue I feel
