domain Is 739.mobi better than SEX.mobi?

Hi,

I'm trying to decide what to do with some of my (digit).mobi domains.

One of them is 739.mobi, on a numberic keypad SEX takes 8 presses, 739 takes only 3.

Could be an interesting branding opportunity for someone.

No....A random 3 digit number can't be anywhere near the value of sex.mobi

You don't get it. The digits 739 are the ones you press to get SEX on a cell phone numeric keypad.

I can't say if it can be more valuable, but it is very valuable nonetheless.

But the problem is that this phenomenon of using telephone numbers like 1-800-SEX-CHAT (that would be a 1-900 number though...) is prominent only in the US. I haven't seen this ever being used in India (after living there for 19 of my 20 years).

I think we might actually see a huge increase in such meaningful 'numbers' as people actually start using .mobi websites

Are you kidding me... your quite mistaken if you don't think many people look at porn on their cell phones/pdas.

As for 739.mobi if developed into a site that is a SEX.mobi alternative and aware people of it.. the value will greatly increase, but as it sits i'd price it along with the other NNN.mobis (higher xxx low xxxx range)

not sure about on other phones, but on my phone if you open the web browser and type in a url, the phone assumes you want to enter letters, not numbers.

so to enter "7", I press the 7 button, and get P, then again, and get Q then again and get R, then again and get S, then again and get 7, all up, it takes me 15 key presses to type in "739".

If I just press 7,3,9, then I get "pdw".

pdw.mobi worth more than sex.mobi? :o
