How can you tell if someone is running a legal copy of IPB? I found a few sites that I want to check to see if there are legal.

If its an older version than 2.1 then use ipscheck=1 at the end. It will show the license number. It can still be changed. So there's no way to find if it's pirated at all.

I guess all you could do is email Invision support with the URLs and notify them that they are suspected to be pirated versions, and they'll handle it from there.

Invision Power doesn't care at all about the pirated copies. They don't even look at the reports on pirated boards.
