IPB free?

Were can I get ipb v1.3.1 or whatever the free version is? People here told me to get that but I can't find it. ??

It's strictly against IPB's license agreement to download IPB from any other website. They used to have a free version with restrictions such as the amount of posts and threads, but I think they took that one down. The free one isn't in Fantastico..it's in scripts or something like that in the actual Cpanel home. I'm not sure how legal it is though

for a host to have it in the scripts library they have to get a special license but the newer hosts dont get it now but if u are on a host which has been round a few years they may have it if they have cpanel.

if ipb isnt in fantastico, check the the prinstalled scripts... it should be in there... Also you can check the main IPB website, they have a free download that doesnt cost any money...

Personally i like vbulliton better, but with out money id go with phpBB or IPB
