Ipb again but an alternative

ok, as i just saw the ipb trail thread was closed but im not suggesting any illegal way. There is a forum icebb. Search on google. It is free and made by many of the developers who left Invision because they also thought that ipb should remain free. So this is like ipb but not quite. I only found this out yesturday.

Maybe take a look at K4BB? http://k4bb.org

The skin/design looks a bit messy, but, i'm sure you could make a skin for it to make it tidier, has some good features.

phpBB, in my opinion, is the best free software out there...SMF comes in a close second, and if it keeps moving at the pace that it is, it'll pass phpBB soon

ok maybe icebb isnt so good. Even thought it has been eleased it has been done way to early. Well for me one you cant install properly becaus it didnt make all the tables. also if no one has already posted in the forum then the putton to start a new topic isnt there. Any other annoyances such as that. The admin panel looks good though.

SMF rocks -- so easy compared to phpBB. Is now included in c-panel/fantastico. Can have up and running in nothing flat and modifying skin is a breeze.
