The investor “Mr. Elephant” has sold his numeric domains to invest Chips. He said he has sold 582.com, 571.com, 296.com, 297.com and 792.com and other 20 NNNN.com domain names for more than $2.3 million and he has invested all the money into chips domain names. He holds a very positive view towards the market of chips domain names in 2016, buying the chips domain names during the period when the market was relatively low in February.

Mr. Elephant entered the market in 2015 and is a new comer in the market, but he has engaged in the Internet industry for many years. He is the veteran webmaster of seowhy.com, a website help website builders to make optimization. He threw 5 million CNY into the market at the very first and bought 582.com, 296.com and 792.com at once.

Though the lavish purchase drew a lot of attention of the market, the mysterious investor kept a low profile and vanished out of the market. Mr. Elephant said he is merely an amateur in the industry. For most of the time he likes to spend time with his child.

But the elephant returns in the new year of 2016. He purchased chips in bulk recently and finally completed his goal to build up his huge chips portfolios. Since the price of chips LLLL.com domain names has risen dramatically, Mr. Elephant perceives it as the result that the market has seen the potential value of chips. Therefore he bravely turns all the domain names in his portfolio into chips domain names.

Taking a close look at Mr. Elephant’s portfolio, we can fin that actually he has not thrown all the eggs into a single basket. Holding a positive view of chips, he owns different extensions of chips as .com, .cn and .net. Most of the domain names are .com domain names and 30% of them are .cn while the rest are .net. Hope he would receive a fruitful year of 2016.

"He said he has sold 582.com, 571.com, 296.com, 297.com and 792.com and other 20 NNNN.com domain names for more than $2.3 million and he has invested all the money into chips domain names"

So, first he sold 5 great NNN.com and 20 NNNN.com for the price he could have made with the sale of just 3 NNN.coms with some patience and skill, then he went and bought chips for it and since then lost another $0.5 million or so on the market decline.

    What a great investor!

Sounds like Mr.Elephant is losing all his money in domains. I better sell all my 4L chips right away.
