Installation Problem

I am having trouble installing a peace of software! I go to run it off of the cd to install and it says 'Setup Initialization Error'. i am wondering how i can find out the problem on my pc, like it uses installshield to use it but it just shows a box with this error after a while. I think it is something to do with on my pc not the CD as this CD has installed the same peace of software on my pc as now.

Could be a problem in windows registry that is causing this. Try some registry fixng software then reinstall the piece of software.
