Coping iso image to cd

hi guys i am tring to install ubuntu iso file image to cd
i put a blank cd and opened infraexpress dvd recorded and chose the isp file i want to burn nad pressed ok
after 2 minutes i tried to boot using the cd i copied nothing happened i browesed the cd i found out its empty
what have i done wrong so that nothing is copied to the disk ?
btw i tried using another program to burn i faced the same trouble

U need more than 2 minutes to burn a CD. However, maybe you DVD burner could not burn a CD, if it is the case, try blank DVD instead of CD
