.info domains aren't worth anything at all: this seems to be the verdict of NP members in the last 12 hours.


What do you think: is it the incessant promotions by Affilias, or is it me:

Most probably just aren't sure what to do with the names? The .com/.net/etc.. owners obviously had something in mind if their sites are developed anyway. Try contacting them and offering it to them for a small amount? They'd probably throw $20 or whatever your way to add it to theirs. Good luck with the auction.

Many are US place names, so international buyers will not be very interested

Most of those seem to be pretty small town and villages. It's hard to monetize them even developed with the local population might only be a couple thousand people or less. Localities also have a lot of choices such as putting the state name or state code behind a city name with little negative effect.
